After applying for the permits, making calls, knocking on doors, and saying a lot of please and thank-yous', and with a lot of volunteer help, the first Convoy For Wishes was held August 29th, 2009.
My son, a truck driver, pushed..."Mom, you can do it". My daughter designed our logo and printed all our flyers. My husband and grand children stood beside me and encouraged me all the way.
